Bring in your Apple device, and we will review the issue you’re having on the spot. We try to give you the best estimate of cost and time, and start the process of making it perfect as quickly as possible.
We can come to you, see exactly what the issue is in your home or office. Depending on what the issue is, we may be able to fix it in place, or bring it back to our technicians for a deeper analysis, and possible parts replacement.
Sometimes you’re just stuck and you’d love to have a technician help with something on your screen, without having a visit. Integrated screen sharing makes it easy! We even give remote courses.
Before a repair :
Find-My
Time Machine
When having your Mac repaired, and up-to-date “Time Machine” backup is important. If you would like us to do a quick backup before we get started, we do offer this service. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Before we can do most repairs, Apple requires that “Find-My” be turned off. Here is Apple’s guide on how to go about it. This is for every product that has the ability to be listed in “Find-My”.
One of the questions we are asked frequently is,
“Why do I need to turn off my Find-My?”
This is to prevent anyone else from getting service for your device without your knowledge.
A hardware repair can not start until the “Find-My” is disabled.
iCloud Backup
For iPhones and iPads - You can easily backup your entire device to iCloud. You may need to add storage to your iCloud account. If you need help figuring it out, just ask. The great thing about having iCloud backup active, is that the backing up of your device happens automatically. All you need is Wi-Fi & power. We recommend taking advantage of this great capability continuously as soon as you can. If it’s been running before you need service, you don’t need to worry about trying to activate it when it may be too late.
Note: You will need to key in your AppleID and AppleID password. Never give this password to anyone, not even us. Don’t try to guess it too many times, you can get locked out. To reset your password visit Apple’s reset iCloud password page.
Every Mac comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary technical support. AppleCare+ for Mac extends your coverage from your AppleCare+ purchase date and includes unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection. In cases where there is accidental damage, the Apple incident fee is a great deal less expensive than the cost of the repair without AppleCare+ coverage.
You can also get AppleCare+ for your iPhone and iPad, Apple Watch and other accessories.
Enjoy the benefits of the extended coverage, and if you happen to have accidental damage to your device, the repair will cost far less than not having AppleCare+
